Blake + Ari were living in Atlanta, GA at the time they decided they wanted to get married yet they wanted to step outside the bounds of a traditional style wedding while still having their family be preset for their special day. One of their first dates was at Cloudland Canyon State Park in Rising Fawn, GA. After finding one of our elopement films on YouTube, they were drawn even more to the idea of having a Cloudland Canyon elopement with their family present. Blake + Ari got ready at a beautiful cabin on a cliffside, overlooking some gorgeous mountain scenery!
The weather on at this early spring Cloudland Canyon elopement was absolutely perfect. It was not so hot that you were sweating endlessly. But it was also not too cold that you couldn’t feel your toes! We highly recommend early spring for your elopement here for a few reasons:
Our dear friend and the super talented TJ Rosemond had to step in as the lead photographer for this one, as Emi wasn’t feeling well the morning of! We had so much fun hanging out with them the entire day! We got to capture them getting ready at the cabin. They shared their handwritten vows at Cloudland Canyon’s scenic overlook. We hiked down to the gorgeous waterfall for some couple’s portraits. We even drove around till we found this awesome straight road and hopped out to take some more pics! Also, TJ & I truly enjoyed the “reception” part of the evening where Blake and Ari hired a personal chef to make some amazing appetizers and dinner! We ended the night opening a bottle a champagne, celebrating a beautiful elopement day at Cloudland Canyon State Park!
