North Carolina Elopement Photographer | Blue Ridge Parkway Wedding
CC + Grant are some of the coolest people we have ever met in our entire lives! Hi, we are Andrew and Emi Ward, North Carolina Elopement photographer and videographer husband and wife team. Thistle Wood Photo got to tag along with us on this epic adventure in the amazingly beautiful western North Carolina/Blue Ridge Parkway mountains. We had so much fun getting to see CC and Grant help each other get ready, write down their vows across the table from each other and overall just breaking the bounds of everyday tradition! Then getting to have such an epic experience with them driving from our glamp sites HERE. All the way to the beautiful Carver Gap – Roan Mountain (actually inside of eastern Tennessee) area to take some adventurous portraits of just the two of them.

Also, if you’ve never been to the Asheville part of the Blue Ridge Parkway, you are missing out! YOU WILL LOVE IT! It’s one of the most beautiful mountain ranges you’ll ever get to see. By far one of the best on the east coast of the United States! Roan Mountain is just an hour and a half drive from Asheville and about an hour 15 minutes from Boone, North Carolina. Making this the perfect elopement location! Also, the trail is easy and it only takes about half a mile to a mile to get to the good stuff! But, you’ll be so enticed by the forest area of this hike that you won’t even realize you are hiking at all. We love being North Carolina Elopement photographer(s).
Our favorite part of the day was getting to hear some of the most intentional and inspiring vows we’ve ever heard. Grant + CC’s love for one another truly shines through the way they treat each other, talk to others and how much fun they are able to have on a daily basis!
